In particular – listen to “Minutes to Memories”. That song reminds me of my father so much ( … and my Dad was a Steelworker in Gary, IN – you’ll understand if/when you listen to the song).
Big Daddy has a miss or two – but the three albums are just so good. Of course I’m also from Indiana – Mellencamp’s home state.

I have forwarded a Mellencamp song to you once or twice – there’s gold in them hills.

Scott,
It was you who really introduced me to Melllancamp. I would probably not found him otherwise.

That’s what friends are for. I encourage you to check out “Scarecrow”, “The Lonesome Jubilee” and “Big Daddy” in particular.

Thanks, Scott
I have written down the three albums and will check youtube to listen to some of the songs before I go hunting for them.
