Stevie was doing pretty good, but he got a bit weird for a while. Haven’t kept up much. I do have his CD where he teamed up with Del McCoury’s bluegrass band. Good stuff. His classic cut is Copperhead Road (not from that CD).

I played Copperhead Road a long while back. I had forgotten all about it, but you’ve jogged my memory, and that’s the first song I remember hearing of his.
I wonder if the limelight makes people get weird for a while.
