Yes, the little boy is me. I wrote : “It stills looks like me because the coffee is not very far.” I choose the Tom Waits song because it’s the only one I know with my name in it.
You don’t have to read : just listen to the music. Most of the time, they’re in French and related to what I wrote.

Thamk you so very much, Carl. I love to write and Coffee has been great fun for me as it also conjures memories thought long lost. I get to relive the best parts of my childhood and share with many who have almost the exact same childhood memories. I too hope I’ll writing for a long time!

Just to add that after I read your blog(s) I am often inspired to post one or two myself. No, I do my own and sometimes connected with what you’ve written, but often on other subjects from my past also.. LOL

I know I don’t get by often, but I think I’m starting to do better as I realize that I’m getting pretty much bored with this retired deal without having a car or much to do besides waiting around for replies to applications.

I’m with Mario. Your blogs have connected me again with my years before I enlisted, I was almost 18 at the time, and well we are both familiar with what was happening then. The times were so much different then than now. And I hope that a portion of them will come back.

I appreciate all your efforts and there are many of us who do. I hope you continue with your writing for a very long time to come.
